Want to know more about shinyice.com? Well Hi! I'm the owner, Brooke, if you didn't know that yet. This site was bought in early April 2008. I started out on piczo, like almost everyone else, barely knowing anything about graphic designing and coding. When I learned how to use CSS I decided I wanted to start a freewebs site. Then I don't remember much from there, I made my own personal myspace...and started going to sites to get layouts. Then I saw all those cool signs and all the cool stuff, and was inspired. So I downloaded a few programs, and read some tutorials and before I knew it I was making my own site. I started out with a subdomain and within 3 months, I had purchased shinyice.com! From then on I just got better and better at graphic design, and especially coding. I made a myspace for my site, and started getting a lot of friend requests. And here I am today with this site, and I am really excited to see where it will be in a year or two. I hope I will still be around with this site stuff, because it is becoming a hobby of mine! Now that I have a new gateway pink laptop, it has also inspired me to update more and excel.
